WITGOED explores the potential of discarded household appliances as a resource for new design. Using metal sheets recovered from end-of-life dryers and dishwashers from De HER, we developed a functional chair through remanufacturing and hands-on experimentation. The project focuses on reusing existing components instead of reducing them to raw materials, giving discarded materials a new purpose while challenging the traditional cycle of making and discarding products.
